Car Profile of Peugeot 205 Evo III

Peugeot 205 Gti EVO III

Currently being built as solely a tarmac rally car, the components that this car has been built from have been through a very rigorous development process from previous cars that we have owned and developed, utilising many parts and ideas that have come from the old rally car that has now been transformed into the Pro Car 1600 Rally Cross car.

There will be no final specification as we are constantly finding things that we feel we can improve on as the car is not limited to a certain set of rules as the homoligation has run out,

It is currently at the 2008 spec that still has to have a few final tweaks that need testing to make sure that they are suitable to the application.

We are running this car in conjunction to the Peugeot 106 S16 (Mini Maxi), Talbot Sunbeam Ti Hill Climb/Sprint Car and Peugeot 205 Pro Car 1600 Rally Cross cars that we currently run.

CHASSIS
- Peugeot 205 Gti Non Sunroof Body shell – 80K miles
- www.tornadomotorsport.co.uk Full Weld in Roll Cage, X Diagonal Roll Hoop and X Diagonal Door bars, triangulated to the front strut tops, Tunnel brace and multi pointed
- Tornado Motorsport Custom Seat mounts

SUSPENSION
Front
- Bilstein 2 ¼” Coilovers, Tarmac inserts
- Selection of springs and ratings depending on the event
Rear
- Bilstein Tarmac Dampers
- 306 Hdi Trailing arms

BRAKES
Front
- Alcon Aluminium 4pot Callipers and 285 mm discs running Ferrodo Pads
Rear
- Standard 306 Hdi Calipers and discs

Misc Brakes
- Full system Aeroquip braided line throughout the car
- Fully Adjustable Bias Pedal Box
- Hydraulic Fly off Handbrake running through a 0.625 Master Cylinder

ENGINE
- Standard Peugeot XU5J engine

- 5:3 Final drive ratio
- 205 Gti Drive shafts and flanges
- MDx2 Rose jointed gear linkages.
- Works Specification Phosphor Bronze Gear linkage shims

- Peugeot Sport Sump Guard

- Thick Rally Mudflaps and damper protection.

STEERING/WHEELS AND TYRES
- Quick Rack - Electric Power steering under development
- 15" Speedlines as old 14" wheels wont fit over Alcons.......OOPS!!!!
